That’s a Wrap! Adios 2022!

So 2022 ended like a million days ago… I have spent the entire time processing the entire year. It was quite the year, and it seemed longer that 2020 somehow. As I close the book on that year and open the fresh, clean, blank book for 2023, I wanted to take a little bit of time to summarize each month’s happenings of 2022.

Before doing so, I am beyond thankful for anyone that has supported me in the past year in any shape or form! I have been truly blessed!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Alright, 2022 wrapped up:

January:

  • Drove to Oregon and back in around 80 hours and immediately attended a concert where my husband stage dived

February:

  • Drove to Casper, Wyoming to sell a fireplace in a vehicle that had zero heat in -4*F weather. It was a very chilly drive.

March:

  • Was laid off from a career position that I had a huge passion for after more than 4 years.

April:

  • Spent some time hanging out with the dogs and birds enjoying so much free time.
  • Started more landscaping and a huge garden.

May:

  • We went to Austin to watch our friends celebrate their marriage.
  • Started reading lots of books.

June:

  • I took some time to visit my Grampy in Bayfield.
  • Picked up my completed wedding dress.

July:

  • I spent most of the month on wedding prep for next month!

August:

  • Finally celebrated our marriage with our wedding at the most perfect place surrounded by our friends and family. It was a very special day that I am forever grateful for.
  • My cousin also got married this month so I went to Durango to attend that 8 days after my own.

September:

  • I spent some time working on personal development and really narrowing down what I want to do next in life.
  • We went camping at our favorite spot in State Forest State Park (yes it is a real place!!)

October:

  • I registered my very own LLC to start perusing a life long dream!
  • Took a trip to Bayfield to hang with my Grampy.

November:

  • I started making leaps of progress to open my own coffee shop: Hal’s Coffee. Connections started flying in the door!
  • We sent my SIL off on a new adventure after spending a weekend with family and friends

December:

  • I finished a huge business plan and narrowed down my trailer search.
  • Went to Knoxville, TN for the NAAA convention. It was so pretty!

Among other things, we took plenty of personal flights around, spent lots of time with family and friends, laughed more times than we can count, and cried more than we thought we might. It was quite the year, but here is 2023 (or at least the remaining 11 months lol)!

Thank you for spending the time with me! Chat soon!

xx,
Hal
